    Heads

    Did someone say I could buy aluminum heads for a 455 for $1420. I hope I didn't read tis wrong cause know I got my hopes up. If thats true count me in.

    Your craftsmanship is awesome Geroge. If I win the lottery, I'm flying out there ASAP. Hey Gimmiethakick, $1420 is for the bare heads (with guides) delivered to your door. I put another $500 into performance work for the heads. I bought the valves for $100 or $150 on the BPG. I ran the valvesprings that were all ready on the motor. So figure I got low $2000's into heads. If TA has a sale on complete heads, go for it. Last night I was looking through an old "Build Sheet." TA had a sale for a while on Stg. 2 SE heads for $1145. That is awesome.

    I can just bolt these on? I know the Stage-2s you have to drill an extra bolt hole don't you? Thanks Wayne

    On the stg. 2 heads I am pretty sure you only need to drill extra holes if you are running really big compression or some power adder.

    So your saying if a set of alum. heads for a 455 are in a guys near future, he might do better waiting for yours?:confused:
