   Attached auction talks of a wheel "still soft", while mine is hard as a...rock, and I am certain it has never been soft. What is wrong there ?

   They're hard, but the vinyl covering has some "give" to it. I would imagine the auction is conveying that it is not dry-rotted yet. Looks like a nice wheel:beer
