I have a correct floor shift column that I want to use to swap out my original column shift column. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and if a rebuild kit with good instructions is available I'd like to rebuild the one I'm going to put in. I know I can have it rebuilt but that's not going to happen because I do not have hundreds of dollars to spend. Thanks, Ken
Ken - this link brings up a a pretty good step-by-step tilt column rebuild how-to: http://www.crankshaftcoalition.com/wiki/images/d/d6/Jazzman_Steering_Rack_Rebuild.pdf The non tilt column is similar, but simpler. I'm pretty good with columns too, so PM me if you have any questions.
If it is a non-tilt,it is easier. As long as you have the tool to remove the top ring, everything else is fairly simple.
