They seem to be hard to find.

I have two from an early '80s Camaro (or maybe late '70s) that look identical to Buick wheels, and my dogdishes fit nicely too. I wish I could find two more.

I recall Wheel Vintiques making them.

    That's where I got mine. 2 15x7 and 2 15x8 with 5" backspacing.

Before you pay $150 ea (+shipping) for new steel wheels be sure to check you local junkyards (if you have one nearby). A friend of mine was recently looking for a set so he could put dog dish caps on his '72 Oldsmobile and bought some 15x7s off of a late 70s (maybe early 80s) big oldsmobile. He also bought some 15x6s from a similar vintage Chevy Impala. The "pick-a-part" junk yard only charged $12 each for the wheels.

I thought the the bolt circle are different on the bigger cars.

I thought so too but my friend proved me wrong by finding several "big cars" in that yard that had the same bc as our A-bodies. Just be sure to measure the bc. Also the 15x6s were plentiful, the 15x7s were only on a couple of cars in that junk yard.

I'll talk to him tomorrow and quiz him again about the cars he removed the wheels from.

I spoke to my friend, I wasn't exactly correct: the 15x7s came off of a '85 Buick LeSabre. The 15x6s came off of a mid 80's Chevy Caprice.

An ironic twist is that when he was pulling the wheels off of the LeSabre in the junkyard, he thought it looked familiar, then he looked closer and realized it was the VERY SAME car his dad had owned many years earlier!

I bought mine from them and they were exactly the way they stated bead blasted/painted and shipped ,If you figure your time hunting them down/pulling/blasting /painting in the long run the price is not that bad. can't remember the cost to ship though ? they fit nice on my 65GS. Hey that rhymes !! Keep am eye out ! they sell them constantly.

I've been down the junkyard road looking for these wheels too. I found that if you're looking at a 225, Delta 98, a taxi, a copcar, or a stationwagon, they are the larger bolt patern. If you are looking at a LeSabre, base Impala, Delta 88, then you have a much better chance of getting the bolt pattern you want. Once you take a good look at the two patterns side by side, you can tell which ones you're looking at pretty easily. I found a bunch of 15x6 wheels on base Chevys. Another good source is 73-77 a-bodies. They are all the correct pattern and they have 15x7 wheels.

All of this is generally speaking, but when you start stomping the yards you'll see that this is basically the case. I learned it all the hard way, that is why it stuck to me.

I am in the process of adding these to my car. I just blasted them last night.

    15x7 front
    15x8 rear.

The 8" have 4.5" BS so I hope the tires will fit. I'm going to try 275x60. and raise the rear with air bags.

I have no idea where the 8" rims came from but the guy I got them from said they are very hard to find.

I was set on painting them black but after looking at that olds I am considering painting them the color of the car.

    Thanks!

Wheels are done and I'm very happy with them. I could never match the paint anyway.

Any idea where those 8" rims came from??
