Hello Does anyone know if anyone is selling .020 steel shim head gaskets for a Buick 455? Also does anyone know if it's alright to reuse them. Thank you Bob
You can get the metal ones for a 70 block. Think TA sells them. They also have thin Cometic gaskets. Don't know if they are a one time install or not. Someone will chime in and tell you much more.

steel shim head gaskets You can reuse the steel shim head gasket as long as it is in good condition. I've reused the set that is currently on the car now 3 times. One set I had I wasn't willing to reuse since it was flaking and rusted. Not really sure why it was in the condition it was in when they were remove but I didn't want to take any chances. I think the ones I'm using currently are from a different manufacture.
