Hi all, I am new to this board but not boards in general. My question is this. I have been given a 1970 GS 350 from my dad. I would like to finish restoring it but do not know where to begin. He has already put a fresh paint job on it restoring it back to its original color but that is it. I have to do the interior. I would like to do as much of the work myself but do not know much about interior. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Another question I have is where to get parts from. I know about year one and have heard of Poston but are there others?
Thank you in advance for your replies.

Year one is a good place to start. For interior stuff, Legendary will have most of what you need. Year One sells their stuff, and it's cheaper than it would be to order direct. As far as misc parts that you can't find in catalogs, this board is an excellent place to look. Just curious, what color combo is the car? If you post your Cowl Tag info, we can help you decode it. Welcome to the board!

Chris, my color combo is Aqua Mist exterior with pearl white interior. It also has the white hard top.

Sounds great, one of mine is the same color combo (picture attached). You can go through and make a list of everything in the interior you want to replace or give Legendary a call and have them make a list for a complete interior package. The previous owner of my GS455 bought a complete interior from them prior to me purchasing the car. I have yet to install it (waiting on bodywork), but you might consider doing that. Is it a bench seat or buckets?:TU:

Buckets. How hard is it to recover seats?
