The starter went out on my 61' Electra 401. I found a local guy to rebuild it, but how do I get the @$#* thing off? My fear is that I have to pull the exhaust manifold, unhook the motor mount and jack up the engine. Anyone find a better (ie-easier) way? Thanks

    I feel your pain.

    Mainly in my nuckles.

I had the same thing in Sept. I ended up cutting the exhaust pipe just below the manifold. Had a friend up the street rewield it after the starter was rebuilt.
