Hey guys - new member as of today. I joined because I bought a 34 Ford street rod recently - the car was built in 1968 and the engine is a 1966 425 Nailhead with a Muncie 4 speed, I am looking for a bellhousing because the one on the car has been all welded up due to cracking. Does anyone have one that they can part with??
Many thanks in advance for any help. Fred

The Nailhead bellhousings are unique due to the linkage used. The 63-66's don't use the conventional fork for the release bearing, they have an internal shaft that is operated from a bellcrank on the outside.
What does your look like? A pic would be helpful.
There are aftermarket ones out there. Here's Russ Martins site which shows a variety:

Quick Time makes a SFI-approved steel bell if you feel the need to go that route:

Here are some pix of my bellhousing - as you can see there has been a lot of repair done to it.

Holy smokes! That's had a lot of repair work!

That bell is from a 65-66 Skylark GS. It has the full bottom whereas the full-size Buicks were maybe 3/4 round with a sheetmetal cover. It would work as well. The GS ones are tough to find. Hope Fred has something for you.

The most readily available aftermarket bell is the one from Bendtsens. It does use a conventional fork tho.
