Stage2 makes quick work of LS7 camaro

This kid is a friend of ours so it's not like he thought he would keep up with the buick. But it sure was fun to finally test the car against something. Last night we took the 70' stage1 car out for the first cruze night. Put about 30-40 miles on it.

The 69' SS camaro has a nice 468 rat square port 11:1 LS7 with comp cam and the new RPM air gap intake. Sticky tires and the works. pretty nice car, the young guy a least listens to use older kids  and put the air gap on his car and some other key changes. I'm sure it would run 11s on motor.

Last night we all leave the car show and drive down the feeder road. Cement with and open road. The LS7 car come blasting past us so we nail the new stage2 headed monster and match his speed and then pass him in 3 seconds flat. Then the light comes up. We wait for him to launch at the green and feather the buick to third gear where we lay on it hard and spin hard but still shoot past him like he was on the brakes.

This was his turn off so we wave goodbye and continue on. The cell phone rings and its him, "That things sick fast!" He went on and on about how he's never seen something like that before.

My brother inlaw sure has a kick butt pro street car now. I need to get my 69' back on the road now since this monster makes my street car seem a little weak kneed.

    I'd say there's a sheriff in town.

Nice job killing that Camaro! :TU: I bet you made a believer out of that Camaro guy with the awesome power of a Buick!

Next time you see your friend with the Camaro, ask him,

"Wouldn't you really rather have a Buick?" :)

Nice job on that one. Maybe someday I can own a buick to do the same thing.
