Let me start off by saying I know nothing about engines. I step on the pedal and like to go fast. Mike @ TA is building a stage 4 tomahawk for me and the subject of intakes came up. Would be wanting a dual dominator tunnel ram or similar. Who builds these?

    Thanks, Alan

Wayne Roberts had CFE out of Michigan build a manifold for his Buick.

No one is better than John Marcella. He's a one man show so leads times can get lengthy.

Get Steve R to adapt a Mopar B-1 or Indy both work with TA Adaptor plates.

depending on how much cam headed work etc .

I had an indy vs SpX about same power
    .
My 487 Picked up 70 Hp with a bigger cam & B1 mopar intake vs my SPX ported by Wilson.
Same carb 1250 w HRE shear plate.

Dave at HRE in PA builds bad ass Billet & sheet metal Intakes.
    smaller cam & spx 835 hp 7300
    Bigger cam & B-1 900 at crank 718 on roller Dyno 7300

A Marcella intake will be a work of art.

I used a mopar intake but didn't like the port alignment..so i cut it apart and moved them as needed...they maybe could have been hogged out to get close byt i was doin fuel injection and needed the injectors in the center of the port

    Rob giroux.
Support the sponsors that sponsor the events. Also his pieces are second to none and he knows what works since he has the same setup and has built multiple for others already.

There are a lot of choices for having an intake built. Here is the last one I did using a Mopar intake to start with.

For what Alan is building he will need twin carb setup to make the most power.
He needs what Dan chait has that rob giroux built.
Or the setup Rob has but for twins as well.

When building a tunnel ram combo dual carb set up. Make sure and do your homework. Make sure the heads really flow. The weight of the car cam choice. Everything. Factor in the "intended purpose" of the combo. Most importantly "Go On A DYNO Bigger is not always better. See what happened with this monster motor ? Don't end up crying like these guys @13:50 !! Donald MacIntosh. It's on a dirt late model that has been pretty competitive with Buick power.
