stage 1 SE heads

after a month long wait my heads from TA are finally on there way cant wait to get them .., spring is in the air , i think i smell vp race gas lol sweet....:grin: :grin: :grin: :grin mike

 

Are these cast Iron heads? OR ?? What was done to them? What was the damages??

 

these are the aluminum SE heads , i just bought the castings im going to do all the work on them myself should be a 600 plus hp motor when im done .mike

How much are the bare castings? How much will you have in them when done?

 

Just go my stage2 SE's yesterday... Can't wait to finish the motor and the car to put it in! Should be fun

 

i talked to ta early this week about the spx and it looks good for them to be done in a month or so.

 

the bare castings for the stg 1 se are 1495.00 i got the valves for 220 and springs retainers and locks came in a kit with the cam. ill have around two grand in the heads when there done including the machine work ..of course it helps to have a friend with a machine shop.mike

 

Haha, got mines, SE stage 1 aluminum, a few months back and it has been tempting to put them on the current motor but I'm going to hold back, yes i know, its hard and wait for the new motor to be done.
