Hi All, I'll soon be ready to drop the Stage 1 in my Chevelle, but I was looking to see how much a Stage 1 air assembly would cost or are they remanufactured??? And I was looking for a set of Stage 1 emblems to go under the SS emblems of the Chevelle I think that will look pretty cool:Brow: . The guy I bought my engine from had the air cleaner for the engine but cut off the snorkels to but on his Grand Am (I think):af: and then threw away the air cleaner assembly. There are some stupid people in this world:rant: I won't even tell you what happened to the car. Anyway if anyone knows where I can get these things let me know thanks. Gerald
Gerald, There are no repros for the air cleaner. BADDABUICK has one for sale in the parts for sale forum. He want 150.00. The Stage1 emblems are available from GM, I believe the part # is 1243121, and Postons has them also, 1-800-635-9781
I wasn't planning on using the GS Ram air hood but just wanted the Stage 1 air cleaner just for the looks. Gerald
Man,talk about a slap in the face of those Chevy Gods...lol I'd love to see the look on the unsuspecting Chevy guys face when they see the real power that lies beneath your hood! Too bad you can't graft a set of GS hood grates into the hood.Please post some pics for us to enjoy. Pat
