Jake, Are you looking for stock stage 1 71 heads to match the block or any set will do kindof search. I have a set of 71 heads that have been worked. When porting these heads I had to lower the port floor to .950 from 1.100 in order to increase the cross sectional area in the port. The combustion chamber is slightly larger in the 71 head so there is a lip at the exhaust seat, which hurts exhaust flow especially at .300 valve lift. From what I have seen on the flow bench a cylinder head that does not have this lip will flow about 10-12 cfm more at .300 and a little less everywhere else. There is no reason to run a camshaft over .525 lift with these heads. very nice heads but right now im looking for some stock ones on the inexpensive side. Im budgeting b/c im having some problems with my 350 igniton system. Ty though
