Hi, I have a 1973 Apollo with a TH350 and SB 350 right at the moment, and am looking at building an ST300 for a more hot SB 350. I am wondering what the main differences are between the two trannies (powerglide & ST300), are the guts the same? Where can rebuild kits be found? Are there manual valve bodies or shift kits, transbrakes, etc. available for the ST300? Any info would be a great help.

I'm afraid the ST300 is a pretty odd duck, unlike the ST400 which was pretty much the same as a TH400 from '65 up. I'm pretty sure the ST300 doesn't have anything in common with the powerglide other than the number of forward gears.

I've never seen any aftermarket go-fast parts for the ST300, either.
