My th300 is trashed...cannot be rebuilt because of a broken-off bolt casing where the front pump is bolted on.....I canot find a th300 anywhere (for my 69 Lesabre), so I am purchasing a th400.....I believe I will need to get a cross member, driveshaft, and a new rear end (and possibly a speedo cable).....can anyone tell me if i am accurate, or is their an easier way?....any help would be gladly appreciated....Thank You!

You can use your existing x-mbr. You will need a new front driveshaft yoke becuase the TH400 is much larger. Everything else will line up. Depending on what length tailshaft trans you have and the one you install, you may or may not need to shorten the driveshaft.
