I'm planning on replacing the ST300 for a TH350 in my 69 wagon. Can I use the original torque converter and drive shaft that's in the car now?

the drive shaft will work would not use the same convertor though it may work I would use one for a th350 you will need to hook up a kick down as well if yours is a 69 wagon there should be a second square hole on your firewall and a second hole on your gas pedel as all the 69's i have had used a th350 already and the kick down cable is on the gas pedel.

    just my .02 worth

I 2nd what Ken said about the S/P convertor. It will work but you are better off using a non S/P convertor. I used a Poston 1400/4000 S/P convertor in a TH400 with a normal front pump after the S/P front pump puked a sun gear. The convertor worked but was always in low stall.
    Best of luck.
