47,000 M trani. Seemed to work fine, I did not drive it much more then 20 miles) had pan leak, changed gasket, overfilled trani, shoved a tube down dip stick tube to remove excess. Problem started since. Could I have damaged something shoving that tube down there...it did need coaxing getting in. If I recall that filller tube leads down to the filter right? Could I have dislodged the filter? I did not change to O ring on the filter when I removed it for cleaning. Finally when trani did not engage I moved shifter from Drive to Park and back to drive. I guess I should check trani to make sure I did not take too much oil out...Manual say 1/4 below fill/add when cold. Any thoughts? OK, took a stroll out to the garage before hitting post button....I still have WAY too much trani oil in that thing!!! At least a quart (I had put three quarts originally and not three pints....I know, I know dahhh!) Is there a tool, giant syringe for removing exess oil from trani? Remember no drain plug on pan...
There is a BIG siringe is available...it just needed to be run a bit..once it warmed up I needed to add a little. Seems fine now.
