My latest project '66 GS came with a transplanted 65 401 with s/p 400 trans. When the previous shadetree hack made the swap, he didn't change the bigger cooling lines, but changed the radiator and jerry rigged the connection. I got a correct radiator and some ST300 lines from Bill S., but now the fittings at the trans aren't the right size. The fitting is composed of a course threaded male with fine threaded female brass that screws into the trans case. Does anyone know if the thread in the trans case was the same for the 300 and 400? If so, does anyone have the correct fittings (2) that will fit the smaller diameter st300 lines? I will be happy to trade the st400 fittings for the st300 fittings. Thanks, Dan
