I have a set of front springs from a 67 GS convertible would they bring the front end of my 65 skylark convertible up at all. Just wondering if they would be taller and stiffer than the 65 ones. Thanks

Hard to say. Would depend on how the springs were made AND how they've settled/yielded/worn since then.

A given ride height can be achieved with a taller, soft spring, or a shorter, stiff spring. Tall/soft springs are good for drag racing, and they "ride nice". Short, stiff springs are better for handling and braking, and make the vehicle more stable.

    Take your pick.

"I" would be VERY unlikely to install used springs. It's a labor-intensive job, and it's real easy to get unsatisfactory results from springs when you can't predict how they've worn in the years since they were made. I'm also very much in the "short, stiff" (within reason) school of suspension tuning for street use--which means OEM springs tend to hit the scrap bin around here.

The only way to answer that question would be to know the spring rate and free standing height of each set of springs. That means you aren't going to get a definitive answer.
