I run a 77 Regal on a 1/4" asphalt oval in Stockton Ca. Does anybody know what the stock spring rate was for this car both front and rear. The car had the Olds 350 and auto trans, 241 rear. Any help would be appreciated....

I don't think there are to many circle track racers around this board so you may have trouble getting your question answered. Hopefully somebody can help. I just wanted to post a quick note to say that your car looks way cool, and to wish you luck in your racing.

Just a shot in the dark here,But if I had to guess I would say 250# or so in the frt and 170# give or take in the rr.

A while back I was researching springs for use with a BBB. It seems like there was someone who was able to quote rates as if they had a book with the info. Sorry I can't help beyond that, but some diligent searching may find that person.

Goto www.eatonsprings.com and give them a call. They have all the factory information on springs and the different spring rates.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm taking the car out agian this weekend and I bought 14" 175 lb springs. The originals were 16" and I had hoped that they were a high spring rate because of the gas tank and capacity of the trunk. I guess we will see. Thanks agian.....
