This my GS as of last Friday. As of today, I replaced the timing chain and head gaskets. Also did some repainting. Still have the rear main seal (can u say the rubber plugs which are leaking). Will get it done, shortly.

Rusty made it's 2018 tarmac debut today! I felt I had the new fitech system dialed in enough for a road test, so layer of dust, cobwebs, and all, a quick little ten minute spin took place. Felt great, really impressed so far! It'll be going back under the knife again shortly, but man it was much needed to sling some gears, even if only for a few miles.

First weekend out and about, got it to the NWTC car show in Green Bay on Sunday.
Got her all shined up, new rims and tires this year too, and got the carb tuned just
right finally. Got her out to the Chase Stone Barn for some pics right away too then.

It didn't come with a grill, so kinda had to put something in there! Scoops, wheel trim,
and gasp those stripes!!!! The shame!!!!! I painted the engine to be red and year
correct but when that comes out next time it will be switched to blue - the horror!

Nice to have the GN out. When I took it out for the first time this year, I took it for a good drive seven miles south of where I live. I was in a pack of motorcyclists heading in the same direction. The bunch of us came to a stop at an intersection light. When the intersection light turned green, I opened the GN up and I saw one of the bikes, behind me, pop a wheelie and carry it for a good distance. There was other traffic we caught up to, so we were all careful, but had out-accelerated everything else in front of us. I doubled back home after arriving at the next intersection light. I was a bit shocked after pulling into my driveway and realizing the gas tank was nearly empty. I'm quite conscientious about never going below 1/4 tank of gas on the GN.

I took a few pictures of my 1976 Regal, yesterday, in the early evening, down at the local harbour:

Thanks, Rick. It already has a stout 1970 high-compression 350-4 in it, so although I have a 1971 455-4 with Turbo 400 set aside, I like the 350 in it. I take photos of all my rides down at this location.
