Spoiler for 69 GS???????

I seem to remember a post regarding a Poston built spoiler for the 68-69 GS. Do they exist, are they still making them, and if so how much. Also if anyone has a good picture of one painted and installed on a car could you post it? Thanks

 

I don't think they make them anymore but I do have a photo of a '69 with one mounted.

That is a very nicely done '69, I wish it was mine.. It was for sale on e-bay some time ago...

 

In that picture the spoiler looks great.....but its mostly due to the GSX paint scheme flowing along it

I've seen a few 69's with the spoiler and in my opinion, it doesn't really work on a 69 (or 68) deck lid because of the downward concave rake of the last part of the lid.

Buick never offered that spoiler - it was offered by Poston many years after the cars left the factory

 

I don't really like them on 68-69's.

 

Me either... I think they screw up the lines on the trunk. Looks odd.

I see what you mean! Well I guess I will scrap that idea. But I have to say that the 69 GSX above looks great.

 

It is a very pretty car.....but

I think the GSX stripe's loudness looses the '69 side body "check" and leaves it looking hollow......without meaning or definition.

while on a typical 68/69 with clean side lines, the body check becomes a definition and eye-grabber

this one's got a wing too....
