speedometer 120 to a 140

Then I Guess The Question Is Does Anyone Have A 140 Mph Speedo?

I did this on my 63 Wildcat. Keep in mind the cable spins at the same speed regardless of the style speedo you have. If your speedo was reading 50mph at 50mph the 140 will read 50mph. I put in all the guages from a 64 Riviera beause I like the look better. They fit right in and look great.

So now the next question. Anybody had theirs up to 140mph while driving?

 

Speedo said 130 (3.07 gears, 28" tall tire) in my '64 rivi on the looong straight strech of Hwy395 in Washoe Valley, between Reno and Carson City, NV.

Suspension was all stock at the time... knida floaty at those speeds... makes it interesting:shock:
