OK before I start I'll get my flame suit on.... there, that's better, now I'm ready. I installed an Edelbrock 750 on my rebuilt 350. :bla: The fuel line barb came straight off of the corner of the carburetor and would not let the drop base air cleaner clear the fuel line. So off I went in search of a banjo fitting, I saw a small one on line for the Edelbrocks for about $22, then I found a nice shiney chrome bling bling one at Auto Zone for $18.00, made by Spectre. The chrome parts work fine but the cheap nylon washers that they supply are not worth a tinker's damn. As soon as I tried to tighten the banjo fitting to the carb the nylon washer crushed and spread out of the side of the fuel line fitting allowing a nasty fuel leak. An hour and three parts stores later I finally found some suitable washers and cured the problem. Now it works as good as it looks.

Why couldn't Spectre put a quality washer in the package in the first place? :Dou:
