Speaking of pictures

  1. I'd like to show a photo of my red 71 Buick Centurion Convertible on my site. It's cool. But how is this done? I have a digital camera at my disposal.

Easiest way is to save the pic in a folder on your desktop. It must be a Jpeg. Then, in your post, you'll notice a feild near the bottom of the text window, below "options" called, "attach file". Click 'browse', then select desktop, then open the file you want and double click the pic you want to attach. The text feild should show the path to the pic you've chosen.

If you get a message that says it's too big, try opening the pic in Paint and reducing it's size to 50%- that's what I have to do every time, anyway. Using Paint is the hack way to do it, but it works:TU:

  3. JPEG

I guess the only trick then is to get the photo on to my desktop as a JPEG file. How did you do this? I'm still studying the capabilities of my new digital Movie Camera.....

Save it as whatever format, then in Paint, save it as a Jpeg. Click "save as..." and then under 'format', choose the Jpeg option. Should be that easy.

  5. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
