Spark plug wire retainers wanted...

I am looking for a set of spark plug wire retainers, the ones that slip over the studs on the valve cover bolts. I need a complete set...can be driver quality but must be a complete set. Please e-mail me at:

Well, it's worth a try. Car is a 71 GS 350.

telriv, thanks for the info. I found them on the internet from a company called Car-Pak, but have yet to find a place to buy them. I will try my local NAPA.

I had a set of grey ones once that I think were from an HEI motor, since the wire siz was bigger. What size wires are you planning on running?

I have a bunch of the smaller sized wire ones. Let me know if you find the new ones.

Napa has one

They have the 4 holers only, NAPA PN #765-1437, good between 6-7mm.

 

I ended up ordering some today from an autobody parts house. They are a CarPak product and will fit 8mm wires. The only drawback is that I had to order them in packs of 10 each...so I am getting 10 each 3 hole and 10 each 4 hole but at least they were only a little over a buck apeice.

 

I'm pretty sure that BBB and SMB have the same ones. I bought the ones in the "Help" Section at Auto Zone and the holes for the studs are too big in diameter. I ended up getting the correct ones from Cars
