Ok, i was check the plugs tonight and they all look very good like a rust color. Form what i hear that is what you want.

I pulled out #7 and the porclin part was a red color. I had never heard of this before. the rest of the plug looked great but down on the porclin, it was really red.

Will a octane booster do this or is something wrong inside. no signs of detonation. Just curious whay it is red.

    thanks

Bryan, octane booster will turn your plugs a nice rust color. Shakes you up the first time you see it, doesn't it? :pp

yeah now that i look more of the plugs have a red tint to it. the electrode looks new as well as the tip. I guess the 104 booster did it.

Scared the crap out of me, i didn't know what was going wrong.

its just on the porclin so i will just keep an eye on it.
