Dual plane and ancillaries should be here Thursday! I think I got one of the last DP intakes TA had in stock for a while :Brow:

After hearing Mark Burton, maker of the turbo kit I will be using say that a DP intake is fine for low boost, I decided to save a couple bucks and get one.

Got the TA Stage 1 dual plane in the mail yesterday and it's a thing of beauty!! I can't wait to bolt it on.

Getting the PCV grommet and valve in was a pain in the a$$ even with the manifold off the engine . . . I used a socket to hold the grommet from the bottom and another socket on the PCV to drive it into the grommet.

231 is a 350 with front two cylinders missing.

Here are some shots of my pulleys that I took off and painted (since everything was apart anyways). Sorry for the weird lighting, I'm still learning my camera.

I shot them in the booth at work using Buick Red Bill Hirsch Engine Enamel. Seems to be good stuff so far, but a little pricey. I followed the instructions and did 2 coats of Eastwood Self-Etching Primer first followed by one light mist coat of paint, then after a quick flash dry a nice wet coat. Shot with HVLP guns.

Turned out nice! I love the Buick Red, it's like blood red. It was kind hard to get into the inside and outside grooves, but I figure the belts will wear away the outside grooves anyways.

I plan to do my air cleaner and maybe a couple of other things in the future.
