Has there been any head to head testing on the new SP1 against the SPX in cast or ported form by anyone here? Thanks, George
hi george ta is just starting to machine the spx it will be a few more weeks jw has a similar older version that has been heavily reworked to come close to the new spx version and i believe there was something like 10-15 hp more and the spx will have a cold water set-up for cooling the intake which was good for more hp 8-10 jw is building a level 2a motor for me i believe these #'s were off the first 2a prototype .
Thanks Todd for the info. Level 2A, is that the Al Stage 1 head version of his engines? Upstate? I lived in the Binghamton and Utica area for 7 years before moving to Maine. Thanks, George
