Sound Deadner

    What comes first the chicken or the egg...or in this case, the wiring or the sound deadner? I believe the only way you can install the wiring is prior to the deadner being installed. But, I want to make sure.

    Which wiring are we talking about? If we are talking say the pad that goes under the dash top it has to go in before the dash is resinstalled. So it depends on what we are talking about.

    Jim;

    I am talking about the wiring harness that runs to the back, I am sure that it goes in before the sound deadner goes on; just checking to make sure.

    If you are talking about the ribbon of wiring back to the tail lights, it goes underneath everything else, right on the floor pan.

    Yes but it is housed in a special rubber sheath that you can still purchase. This is necesarry to prevent chafing.
