but! My mom just wrecked my Dads LeSabre, and I'm thinking of buying it and putting the 455 in my 64 wildcat to replace the Nailhead thats running horrible in it. how hard a job is this and how much fabricating will be needed? Thanks! (Flame suit on) Andrew
Nailhead to 455 Andrew, It's your car, do what you need to do. Just be aware it is probably cheaper and easier to fix your nailhead than to convert the 'cat to a 455. Do some diagnosis on the nailhead so you can possibly sell it and recover some of the cost of the engine swap. Good Luck whatever you decide to do! Tim
