I’m guessing a millennial who inherited his parent’s money? Here’s the future of collectible things. https://www.hagerty.com/articles-vi...elvis-mercedes-benz-450sl-no-match-for-cobain Patrick
While I agree it's an obscene about of money for a sweater, this is not new. People have been overpaying for stuff like this for a long time. Hemi Cuda's sell in the $500k ballpark. I mean com'on, it's a freakin' Mopar!
Nirvana was way before Millenials. I'm a casual fan of their work and all but it's crazy that a ratty sweater is worth anything. Not to mention he was using a ton of heroin at that time. It's all but guaranteed he shot up wearing it.. I'm pretty sure he died a few months after that show. celebrity or not its got to be contaminated. Also hilarious the first comment at the bottom of the article from the guy who is butthurt about the comparison to Elvis!! Get a grip!
Reading this thread I was thinking you might want to think twice before crossing international borders with that
Cobain has been dead for twenty five years. Courtney Love carried on his legacy. Guessing for some reason she didn’t toss the ratty thing.
Hi all, Hard to believe something someone wore for a show could be worth that much, only wish I was smart enough to get it after the show lol Regards,
If you want to ruin my sweater, pull this thread as I walk away.... (lyrics from something I heard in the past)
Read an article a few months back on the amount of money his daughter gets annually off of his royalties. And I think the article had mentioned something about unpublished material that she would get a part of or owns. It's insane the amount of money out there. We did some inspections last week in my area and gazed upon Jordan's boat. Only it's not really a boat.
