    NEW seat question

So my friend just bought a 92 mustang. He can get another set of buckets from the seller for free and will give them to me. Will these fit?

i may be totally wrong but i dont beleive that those trucks came stock with buckets?? maybe they are from a g body. i have grey leather buckets out of a 98 bonniville in my 84, they are sweet! full power and comfy as hell. the backs fit alright also. good luck!

How much modification was needed to put those bonneville seats in?

    Dan,

Are just looking for bucket seats? I have front 60/40, and rear Blue Pillow Velour out of a very nice 84 Regal in case you need them.

The bucket seats I put in my '87 Regal came out of a mid-80's Firebird. All I had to do was unbolt the mounts off of my split bench seat and bolt them on the buckets, no modifications at all. The interior in my car was grey and so were the seats and the pattern is very close.

    Bucket seats

You can use any G-body seats, however, to use buckets where a bench was
you to get the inside floor brackets and weld them to the floor. Cut them out
    when you get the seats.

Any seat will work provided you measure the distance between the bolt that hold the rails to the seats. They should be 12" apart. Then you just take the rails from a G body 60/40 or some torn up G-buckets and strap them onto the seats you want.

I use a set of 2nd gen Cavalier seats for weight and thier lack of wear. They had a 12" sapacing and bolted right in!

the bonneville seats fit really tight in the back and are not a perfect fit but is not noticible at all, no one sits in the back seat anyways, but they will work just fine. the front i had to weld some tabs onto the old ones a move the seats inward about 1.5 inchs on both sides to fit right, they also dont tilt foward. however they are both full power grey leather seats in flawless condition and i only paid 80 bucks for them at the salvage yard! so i have a custom well at least custom looking interior for less then 100 bucks when it was all said and done, i will post a pic soon
