    If you want it all one color, you should remove that trim (carefully!) and fill the mounting holes and then paint. I do think these 66/67 A bodies look cool with a black vinyl top too. If you do a vinyl top then you would keep the trim on. Your choice, I know it's difficult!

    I think I will shave the trim and go with a dark grey metallic. Shine up all the chrome and slap on some torque thrust wheels. I'm far from that though, right now I'm more concerned with getting everything working properly. My next major project is rebuilding the front end. Then I will move on to weather sealing and rust removal. And of course there's all the small things here and there and in between. Lovin' every minute of it. :)

    There's nothing to laugh at. You've got a great starting point for a great car. Mine was so caked in dirt when I got it that you couldn't find half of the bolts.
