My older friend had this car in his polebarn for over 30 years. I picked it up from him and it sat in my polebarn for over 11 years. I thought one day would get to it but life is moving to quickly. The BAD-gonna need floor and trunk pans Was hit in rear pass. Side 1/4 (can be banged out) solid. Needs both bumpers 430BB in it froze up from sitting. Missing other parts. THE GOOD- Arkansa car Title in my name in hand. True original black on black 4 speed. Tranny and all 4speed stuff in car. Original posi. Still in car. Boxed frame solid. Aluminum front drums Fenders I think are from a Special but both very solid and straight. Doors solid- pass. Need a bit body work. All glass in car(windshield cracked) Seats- decent cores True GS hood(had Skylark hood on it) It is a project car but great one being black on black 4speed car. Car is in Flint ,Michigan I would like to get $4K for it I think I could part it out and get at least that much for it. I don't want to do that(67GSs getting harder to find) Gonna clean up driver side and hit it with primer in next few days. Question on car are welcomed.
Car is sold to HUGGER Going to good home- Someone who is enthusiastic about bringing car back on the road.
That is awesome, any chance of another thrash session to to get it ready for the Nats this year? Kidding
I'm seeing,..a set MT headers,... Cam,..B4B,.. Mallory dual point,...accell supercoil,..cragars,...pro trac l60s and a few coats of black epoxy in it's future
Absolutely,...I've got the set of torque thrust here I had ony orange car,... thinking I may just build a narrowed rear end and use them,...with only 3.75 back space it would look killer tucked/ under the 67 1/4s
Not sure I got a build to that level in me till these other projects are done,...but I'm feeling this will be keeper status for sure
VERY good bones on this one,....what I have in mind is something I've always wanted to do ,..and this car will work perfectly for it Couldn't have asked for a better seller ,..Mike is as good as I've ever met,..very excited been brainstorming the whole ride home
Very cool car, black on black with a 4-speed. It's great that it was built at Kansas City because the trim tag has the accessory codes to quickly verify that it was originally a 4-speed. Good luck with your '67 project. 2LF: 2 = 2nd group L = 4-speed F = consolette
