A bit premature, as I'm still waiting on the title, but I have a 71 Wagoneer from Stockton California that sat in a barn there from 1980 until a year or so ago. I bought it from the estate of the deceased original owner. If you've ever had thoughts of owning one of these, buy a clean one like this. Most are Rot boxes. The added bonus is that it only has just over 50000 miles on its original Buick 350 and Turbo 400. I had it shipped to Michigan, pulled the interior, cleaned and painted the floor with POR15 Black, then installed new Carpet and the cleaned seats. I bought brand new Aluminum slot mags and brand new Hankook DynaPro ATM tires. I've had it running off a gas can, but should probably get new fuel tank, etc. Still has brakes, but this truck should get a mechanical once over before any long distance drives. SOLD
Hmmmmmm……how much of my Buick stash do you need for this beauty? Always liked those (mine is a 360 AMC ).

Pics of frame and engine. Stockton California must have red dirt/mud/clay. Underside is covered. There is orange powder rust on anything that was bare, but not scaley crusty rust. Pictures do not do it justice, if anything they look worse than in person. It's like trying to show someone a 35mm picture of the Grand Canyon, and explain how great it is with a crappy picture. When I had the interior out last fall, I had to take seat frame bolts, seat belt bolts, and carpet sill plate screws that all went through the floor and had exposed threads on the underside. Everything came out with screwdriver and 3/8 ratchet set. That just doesn't happen with 50+ year old vehicles normally unless they are California clean like this is.
3rd purchase from Tom. He's a great, stand up guy whomever looks to buy from him do so with confidence. He's as straight forward an honest as they come. That 73 GS455 is sooooooooooo nice that he has. IF it fit my budget it would be in my garage. They are big heavies, but such beautiful cars!!!
Stopped to snap a pic around the corner from Tom's house. Already had a friend with a whip antenna offer to hook my up to resolve the rear qtr opening. Loved guys with 80k trucks blowing horns and thumbs up on the way home!
CONGRATULATION STEVE! Very happy for ya buddy! (P.S.I have a 77 Waggy so we are AMC bruthas now too!)
I use to drive it to work at samaritans Purse (was a line leader during Christmas “shoe boxs gifts”) Jeep wasn’t pretty but damn I loved driving it. Anyhow I like yours much more! Cool stuff buddy! Wish I had some 350 parts to donate ya!
