ok gang, im getting ready-my plan is to DRIVE the vegas winning skylark from Thousand Oaks, California (near the ocean on the left coast) to my friends shop in Columbus, change the oil and rear gears and drive up to race at Norwalk. I will be traveling on I40 east to Oklahoma city, then NE on 44 to St Louis then I70 into Cols. looking for a couple of buick friendly places to crash along the way. with gas prices up, budget is gonna be kinda tight. I hope to travel at least 700 miles a day, maybe more. First night near Albuquerque, 2nd near springfield MO., also anyone wanna leave me a phone number in case i have mechanical gremlins I would appreciate it. Ima non smoker approaching 50 who cant resist another road trip. after Norwalk, I will leave the car in Cols with my friends and fly home, fly back for the BPG race at west salem, then either drive it home or leave it for the return trip to the west coast nats in vegas again on the trip home. Do I have confidence in this car or what,EH?? anyone along the route who can help out, I would apprectiate it!! Thanks in advance
You can stop at my place along the way. Turn right at Cleveland and go about 1100 miles south!:laugh:
