Nice job Ivan! That's spelled CADDY-MEAN-O. Could you post the link to your site once you've got the rest of the pictures up on it? :Comp: Thanks for sharing. :TU:
Just talked to Gary, owner of the '68 Sportwagon in the 2nd pic, he said the show was awesome, one of the best he's ever been to! Looks like a great time. RV
Hi Roberta I have to agree it was a nice show. Great turn out on the Buick front. Can't wait till next year. By then im hoping to have another Buick ready to show.:bglasses:
Yep, that's Gary's car! He's bringing it to Flint, if he can find a AC switch, anybody out there got any '68 AC switches?
Has he tried the Buick Farm. or better yet see if you can get a part number. Found this on Buick Farm PN 7304793 1968;W/A.C., SWITCH,MASTER VAC ON CTRL 33 in stock $16.00 each Ivan
Very nice pics! Thanks for sharing those Ivan. There'll be a lot of pics posted next weekend after the picnic in Holmdale too. Really looking forward to getting down there.
The Woodley Park All-GM Show was really good!!:bglasses: :TU: Met up with Ivan, Scott and Robert....also had the chance to meet Ethan and "Basketball Sam". It's always great to meet up with some more V8Buick board members!!:TU: Each of the GM divisions were represented rather well....quite a few years and models. A little something for everyone! For a local show with basically just flyers and word of mouth....really nice turnout!!! Thumbs up to Ivan for 'manning the grill'!!:TU: :TU: The carne asada (hope that's right) beef burritos with salsa and guacamoli were great!!:beer :TU:
Guess I'm always the last to know.... It was a great show, what I saw anyhow.. The only thing that could have been better was the buyer turnout in the vendor section... :ball: Everyone I talked to didn't do very well at all, yet there were soooo many cars and people.. argh! A HUGE :TU: to Robert for helping me out from setup to cleanup! Scott, for helping unload the truck. And to Ivan and his Carne Asada Burritos (interesting stuff I might add). Cheers Guys! :beer
I think I've got a couple extra, I'll have to grub through my stuff tonight. Does he need the whole climate control or just a switch?
that's a pretty sweet custom grille in the 71...wonder how much something like that would cost to have made.
Where was this show -- I got no idea where Woodley Park is. I'll need to get out that-a-ways to visit family next year -- seems like a good weekend to pick. Where do I find info? -- Steve
Apparently Gary found a switch at Wheatland Buick, in OK, Thanks for all your help, his computer is down, RV
It's in the San Fernando Valley in the Sepulveda Dam basin. My first show. There was a strong Buick presence.:Brow: Ivan
