So what would you do in this situation,

I was next in-line to purchase something. Seller said I was next. I sent PM with my name and address so that shipping costs could be calculated. I asked for pay pal address so that I could pay. the seller responded I would get the shipping cost later today (that was on Monday).

I responded in the PM on Wednesday and then again on Friday to check in for an update and got no answer. I responded in the actual sale item today (Saturday) and still no answer.

I know it’s only been a week. I understand stuff comes up and life happens. But a simple response saying you need a few days or something I think isn’t hard to do. I know the individual has been online because V8 Buick shows when you were last active with a time stamp, so I know the individual has been online pretty much everyday this week.

    How would you proceed next?

I’m not here to call the individual out, I just want a response. If they were sold to someone else, so be it, stuff happens and life goes on. I’ll find these parts somewhere else.

All you can do now is wait.

Pretty much wait or find the parts elsewhere.

We're all busy, I understand that. But IMO if the seller doesn't have to time sell the item then he shouldn't have posted it in the first place. Sorry, I guess I'm just one of those guys who will follow through on everything. If I call about an item on craigslist and tell the seller I will be there at a certain date and time, I will do it. If I can't make it I will let the seller know in advance so he isn't inconvenienced by me. It's simple common courtesy.

After a week I would warn my fellow Buick friends to be careful when trying to buy from John Doe or who ever they were.

I think good communication matters a great deal. As frustrating as it is, all you can do is wait and alert the rest of us to "time wasters".

No, not you Bruno. I don't even remember the guy's name it was so long ago. But I still get pissed when I think about how much time & money I wasted, mainly time.
