I have a date with Katie tomorrow, finally a girl that loves cars and I didn’t even have to send her a picture.. awesome.
I got one from Paula 211. I didn't see this thread before I started another thread about scammers. I didn't open it, and it doesn't show up on my in box.
My girl is Rachelle. I can tell it’s real - the way she said “I like men who into cars” spoke to my heart like nobody ever has. I’m gonna send her a new Rolex, surprise her with a cruise, and buy her a condo in Monaco as soon as my wife gives me my allowance for the week. Yup. $20.00 ought to cover it. Seriously - did someone download a list of V8 members?

My PC has always flagged this site as 'Not Secure'. Perhaps there is a way to rectify that although it would probably mean that all posts would have to go thru a moderator.
A secure site only encrypts the traffic. "Secure Sockets Layer" (SSL) is a method in a layer/protocol that is in the method used to transmit traffic on the "TCP/IP "stack" (several layers of the way data is transported from the physical components/hardware up though the operating system to the top of the application). Analogy... You and I speak English but want to have secure discussion in an English room full of people who speak English. No one speaks Japanese in the room and has no way to interpret Japanese. We each get a Japanese speaking person and whisper to them and they translate our English, to Japanese and speak to the other Japanese person in a normal voice, who then whispers in English to each of us. So, SSL/secure is "encrypted" accross the public internet. Any site that is not secured by SSL sends datagrams in "plain text", meaning the information can be captured, and "understood" with very little effort. The issues of security and applying SSL would have no effect on what and how we received these emails. More likely weakness in the forum software (application developer problem). Jim's making every request for membership a manual process, is time consuming and extra effort, but the best option to prevent it. Hope that helps.
