Wow. I never knew that a seat covers and an alternator cost over $5000 to fix. If this car is in Muncie. I know the owner, the car was dark green at the time I drove it he wanted 7k 7yrs ago when I lived there. It was leaking oil bad just sat in the same place for quite awhile. I remember the car because it had a 72 rear bumper like this one. I bet it is the same car.
It must have been the glue he was sniffing when he fixed those oil leaks that got him... He's outta his mind!
Reminds me of a local guy here. He's got a 69 Skylark convertible. He's had it for sale for months for $15.5k. It hasnt sold so he upped the price to $17.5k. I guess if it still doesnt sell, it'll be 20k soonou:
makes me think of a 70 gs that sat around here as long as i can remember. The thing was a rust bucket, but every time we asked the owner (a little old lady) if she was interested in selling it she'd reply "well its a discontinued model, so i can't take less than 20,000." If thats the case, i geuss i'll start picking up some pontiacs.... those should be worth a fortune by her logic...
I would like a 4spd car, but I just have a had time dealing with an idiot. You can not believe a word they say and I am not going to drive to Indianapolis to meet this guy. I would have gave him the $5500 for it if it was in half way decent shape.
