My other "hobby" cars are VW's...got a very clean 71 Ghia and a 71 Wesfalia Campmoblile,79,000 original miles bought it from the first owner 6years ago. My Buick is very special to me.

Nothing like a rover for having a good time!
From the time I bought my 1952 series I with the little 2 liter diesel I was hooked.
In a 99 Discovery one time I remember doing a river crossing where the water was up to the door handles. The river was running hard and it was snowing pretty good. The wife was about 8 months pregnant and it was many miles from paved roads.
There was a jeep on the other side that wasn't willing to go though. I had to do it!
Those little 4 banger series rovers are the hemi cuda of the off road world!

 

Oh, don't worry about it! We (humans) are all sinners. It's human nature! I'd be more worried about your remark "getting the porsche that the fiance promised you could buy". That remark in itself says a lot about your future life of matrimonial bliss. ou: :bla: p
