i just picked up another die-cast Buick dealership emblem at Hershey, it is from the Snow Buick Co. Windsor, but where? i asked the seller if it was Windsor Ontario but he didnt know. he said he thought it was from somewhere in new england, maybe CT? the thing is kind of neat, it has a snowman on the left. it is perfect, must be nos. i cant find it in my 1968 USA Buick dealership book. anybody know where this place was? o No: i now have one from Hertrich Pontiac-Buick in Seaford DE, and one from Spires Buick in San Antonio also. i wish it said "byThumma" now that is one i would pay dearly for. oh well, looks like the start of another collection. ou:

Mark, when i saw that collection of emblems in Canada all i could say was, wow! i did write the seller of the Rush emblem, he is going to look to see if he has a Thumma piece. where were the Shannon and Jennings dealerships located ?
Henry, Shannon Buick was in Dayton, OH. Owned by two brothers, Bob and Gene Shannon. Both of them were into racing and for many years had cars in the Indy 500. They were also involved in midget racing. My father was Body Shop Mgr there. It is now Reichard Buick. Jennings Buick, where my car came from, was in Cincinnati. One of the Shannon "Offys"
There is a small town about 50 miles north of Denver here in Colo. named Windsor. Pretty small town though, can't imagine a full size Buick dealer there. Since someone mentioned "Rush" Buick........Rush Motor Co. was a Buick Dealer in the Denver area also. I still see an occasional car on the road or in the junkyard with that nameplate. Jennings Buick I think I still use one of their key rings on my GS. I liked it because it had Buick on it and it is orange. :TU: Um, there is a large junk yard in Carthage that should have Buicks with Jennings stuff on them, if you're interested. :Smarty: Shannon in Dayton, OH and Jennings in Cincinnati. :bglasses:
