I saw in your signature that you're in the 14's, what happened, can we have a full rundown? It would also be interesting to know your 60ft, 1/8 mile etc. What changes were made? And by the way, congrats :TU:

It wasa during eliminations and I broke out...during a bye-run (bi-run? how do you spell that?)

I only made changes to my timing and flattened the rear tires some more to gain traction. I didn't have much of a problem all weekend with hooking, but I needed to be able to mash it off the line.

    60' - 2.14

    MPH - 89.60

nice, and you didn't even have to use that cam that has been in the box for 2 years by now  ..

I'm interested to see where you make your power, by just comparing your run against my best run, it seems you have a lot more power on the top end, what do you think?

This coming Saturday the "California Speedway track" is open for "street legals". It is situated on a lower elevation and I was planing on going, but I'll have to work. I'll just have to wait for 28th of October to come around when it's open next time; hopefully it's a chilly day with not too many cars around. I've got new rear tires, bought a set of bf goodrich radials 255/70/15's that I'd like to try, I've previously been running junk yard 235/75/15's, the new tires have a larger circumference by .6%, helps the gas bill tremenously  . I'm right now running 30 degrees total, I'd like to inch that up during a few runs to see if it helps.

I have mine set at 32

I think part of the top end with my car is the headers and big valve heads. At that point, there is more air moving through the motor.

I do still have that lumpy cam sitting in my basement. I will probably never use it either. My next car will have a mild cam, though. I just have to go pay for it and pick it up:grin:
