I have a 72 Skylark convertible. I just noticed a small amount of fluid under the rear seat left hand side. It is not a puddle it is just a little wet. I followed the leak to the top O ring on the piston. Can I just replace this O ring? Is it difficult to do? How is it done?
Where can I get one? What type of fluid should I use to refill and how? I am positive that it is all original.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

Common problem. Very easy to replace. Use Dextron trans fluid. You can contact any hydraulic shop in your area to get a kit or contact www.hydroe.com

Will it need to be an automotive shop? Do I need to remove the cylinder to fix it? Any special tools or will it just pop out woth a screwdriver and needle nose?
    Thanks
