I need to buy a set of slicks for my 72 GS. It currently runs low to mid 11's, I will be upgrading to Stage 2 heads this winter. My 60'S are in the 1.52-1.54 range. What brand, size, sidewall(stiff?), etc do you guys recommend? Thanks!

    Hey Tom,

I have the same 60' times and I found the Hoosiers to work great for me. 29 x 10.

We run a 3.90 gear and the hoosiers seem to work the best so far and they also last the longest.
    Hope that helps some.

    I've ran a 28x10.5 M/T Drag ET and went 1.32 60fts at 3300lbs. I ran them on a 10" rim.:TU:

    I would say start with the 28x10.5 MT's.....Maybe even a "W"
Then as you go faster you can go to a 29.5 tall tire.

I have the 29.5-10.5 MT on mine. I like them better than the Goodyears I had before these.
