My sister just sent this article to me and my brother, said my Dad wanted us to see it, he has a '92 Roadmaster wagon! Check it out here, looks to be from Dec 2003 SIA mag.

Nice to see the RoadMonster get the recognition it rightly deserves....even if it is Chevy powered.....BUT !!!

There are some GLARING mistakes in the article .... enough to make me upset at the author for not correctly researching the article:

    1) "RoadMaster and Caprice Wagons sharing the same 217.53 inch wheelbase" .....the Wheelbase is 115.9"

    2) "With Aluminum Heads..." Neither Wagons, Impys, nor caprices received the aluminum head LT1's....only the F-Body and Vettes

3)"The GM 4T60-E Transmission...." Duh....T - stands for Transverse. The 4L60E is what was used in all B-Bodies

4)" A Trailering Package.....with 3.23:1 rear axle ratio..." The standard rear end IN THE WAGONS for 94-96 was a NON-POSI 2.56. If tow Pkg. equipped, it got NON-POSI 2.93 rear. Posi (G80) was an OPTION on either version and gave you the SAME GEAR RATIO but with Limited Slip Differential - the ratio's stayed the same depending on Tow or No-Tow ( I believe 91-93 had the 3.23's)

    :Dou: :blast:
