I have a set of original height Skylark 350 rear coil springs available (about 5 years old). $35 plus shipping costs. I have a pair of the bumper brackets which fit length wise across the rear bumper of a 1971 or 1972 rear bumper and a pair of little (bar shaped) bumper brackets which attach from the frame to the bumper for a 1971-72 rear bumper. $20 plus shipping costs. I also have a 1972 GS hood molding with no broken studs. Unfortunately the previous owner broke this piece in the center. This piece is pot metal, but may be repairable. $25 plus shipping as is. There were enough PMs in regards to these items for me to add the pictures so here they are :TU:
I believe they are MOOG, but I can't say for certain as I did not buy these new. I did buy a set of MOOG for my GS and they are both the same height, but the stiffness is very different on the two. I hope this helps and I can definitely post a picture of them if you are interested. Thanks :Comp:
Moogs have the mod number stamped on them. Or atleast the last couple I bought did example 5398 would be somewhere. On either end
I ran out and took a look at both pairs of springs (new and old) and I could not find any numbers stamped on either set of them...the pair for my GS were in a factory sealed MOOG box, so I am not sure what to tell you on these o No:
I was wondering if you still had the springs? And if so, what is the uncompressed length? I have a pair of variable rate springs but it dropped my car 2" an i dont want that. The spring height i need is like 14.3". Thanks Dan
I do have another set of these, but the uncompressed length is 12.5" Not sure if 14.3 was stock???o No: Try your local Autoparts store, they should be able to get you the length that you need, even if it is for another vehicle. Good luck!
