Will the rear pinch weld moldings fit the 70-72 Skylark/GS? If so, please send pics to winoman@sbcglobal.net.

Randy..THANX for the pix of the hood scoop...the pitting appears rather extensive and deep so, I would really like my pot metal restorer to take a look at the pix before deciding to take that plunge, OK? Will getting back to you this weekend be ok? Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    Randy,

Those moldings will not work on a 70-72 Skylark/GS so I'll pass.

    Thanks for the pics.

CORRECTION. These molding will not fit the 70-72. Only the 68/69. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't think so- before I say for sure, I'll pull the rest of the old top material off and make sure. I'll get back to you. Otherwise, the frame is complete, straight and in good working order.

Herb- I pulled the fabric off the front bow and there is no rot. It is solid. Only light surface rust, but it's very solid and straight.

    Dallas-
Here's a pic of the bumper brackets. I quickly bead blasted one- they are in very good condition. All straight. Only surface rust. They will clean up great for painting. PM sent on shipping. Thanks.
