    Hello

I need to get a new front right inner fender for my -71 skylark. I wonder if a inner fender from chevelle or cutlass would work?

    Thank you

No --it is Buick specific. You can get a repro from vendor on the front page of this Board.

You can also buy a patch to replace the bottom flange if this will fix the damaged area.

To bad I didn't know patches existed untill today. I made the patch my self and have just had the core support painted. Turned out ok but I would rather have bought the correct patch from you.

Do you know how the shipping works? They gave me a estemate of shipping and thats what I payed. Will they give me another bill with the aditional shipping?

They will charge the actual amount instead of the estimate when the stuff is wrapped and packed. If they overcharged you they will reimburst your credit card.
In my case the online estimate was $110 and actual was $78. :TU:

Ok. what did you order? anything big and heavy? I think my estimate was 45.

Shipping to sweden is usually not to bad. Bought a carburator of ebay and payed 45 dollars in shipping.

There is a lot of work that is remaining, at least the chassie and engine are done.
The body is still in the rotisserie and needs another couple of weekends welding and grinding before I can paint the undercarriage and put it back on the frame.
Still have to patch the inner fender and the core support too. :beers2:

Sounds like a nice project you got going on. Any picks? Always fun to see other peoples projects.

Sorry Double D. At least you might make some chevelle guy happy

Phil It really *is* a 350...

No inner fenders. It's like going commando and resolves any tire clearance issues. :)
